Cooking Up My Perfect Zelda Game

Image
From what I've heard about surviving in Breath of the Wild,a key part of it is cooking up healthy, stat boosting recipes with the game's much praised cooking mechanic. Given that Nintendo won't be making the next Zelda any time soon, I thought I'd create my vision of the perfect Zelda game. Taking ingredients from other games and combining it with splashes of new, exotic foodstuffs, my aim is to cook up a Zelda game perfect for me!Let's get started. cooking with Link The meat of any great Zelda game should be the dungeons. This is where all classic Zelda elements come into play. Puzzles, combat crafted into a perfectly complex space. Of course, Majora's Mask got away with four, as did BoTW. The latter did this by adding shrines, extra-mini dungeons of sorts. However, my perfect Zelda wouldn't have these. If I'm having dungeons in my game, they need to be the real deal, the whole meaty affair. That isn't to say I would mind only four dungeons,

Twilight Princess' Dungeons RANKED!- Worst to Best

Hello, and welcome to the first of hopefully, many Zelda themed countdowns. This is all the dungeons of Twilight Princess ( my favorite Zelda game)ranked from the worst to the best. I've seen this particular list floating around on the net before, but so many of the opinions differed from mine that I decided it was time I stated my own views on the dungeons of a game, which, in my opinion, holds the best Zelda dungeons to date. The sense of trepidation and anticipation builds up as you scurry across Hyrule to set up a massive ancient cannon to blast you sky-high. And when you get there, it's intriguing. There is a sense of wonderment to being in a floating city hundreds of feet up in the air. But I'm afraid I very quickly grew to hate this dungeon. To put it short, its the worst combination of boring

Welcome to Hyrulez!

Hello there! I suppose it has become tradition for me to begin a new blog with a welcome post. I won't divulge the true number of failed blogs I have created up until this point... ( pssst, it's a lot), but let's just say it has been a journey.  So why is this blog different? I like the Legend of  Zelda. Like, a lot. So, I'm hoping, if you like the franchise too, you might be able to find something that interests you here! I don't know why I didn't start this sooner, combining two of my favorite things, the Legend of Zelda video game series, and writing, it makes sense!  So why should you stick this around? At this point I can't give you a solid schedule or plan, but let's just say this is my place for everything Zelda. Stray thoughts, theories, they'll all be on here. I am hoping to get an online blog journal out for Breath of the Wild, when my Switch finally comes in (hopefully) a months time. Anyhow, in the meantime, I'll fill this blog
